Excellent for intended purpose

High calorie burner. Keeps my legs in shape when I can't be outside riding. Easily adjustable from little resistance to making you feel like you're climbing the Alps. Quiet. I use regular road bike pedals to get workout in both lift and push positions. Enables you to pedal in a circle most efficient...

Effective machine

I got the bike and put it together by myself relatively easily. The cup holders/weight holders were a little on the challenging side to get on. I did use my own pedal wrench which was easier to maneuver than the one included. I've had it for a few months now. These are my observations: it's smooth...

I have chronic Achilles pendants, limiting my running. This is great for cardiovascular workout. I use and enjoy the JRNY upp and its integration much more than I thought. I use it most days.

Seat Adjustment May Not Be Adequate For Smaller Riders

By Recovery Rider

3 1/2 stars. Recovering from a recent Achilles tendon rupture, I decided to purchase an exercise bike because it offers non-weight bearing leg strengthening. I'm in the initial stages of exercise bike usage so my IC4 biking experience so far is minimal. First impressions are the bike delivers a sturdy, solid and quiet ride. On the negative side, there's the fixed forward sweep of the handlebars and the limited forward adjustment of the bike seat. In other words, the IC4 riding position demands a low extended, arms-forward lean that shorter riders (like me) may find challenging because the seat can't be adjusted far enough forward. If you belong to the road bike crowd and are of a certain height, the IC4 ride will likely feel familiar. If you don't fit in this category, find an IC4 to test ride before buying.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I was amazed how quiet it was. The seat is not super comfortable, but I will probably get a different seat or covering. Very pleased with it so far. #sweepstakes

Asked by Just Dan
Verified Reply - MorganHello! Yes, the units of measurement can be switched between kilometers and miles before you start a workout. To change the units, push UP and DOWN together and hold 3 seconds. When the display begins to blink, use the arrow button to change the units (KM or MI). Push any button to save. Was this answer helpful to you
Q

Does the LED screen show you your resistance levels? Also, are you able to put in your weight for the most accurate calorie information?

Asked by AV

Q

Please don't answer " Hello! It's 30.7" x 54.6" like you did for the two other people asking this same question. What at the dimensions of the FRONT FOOT/BASE and the BACK FOOT/BASE where the bike touches the floor? The answer should be two separate Length x Width answers as the shape doesn't appear to be the same for both. The goal is to purchase two mini floor pads to protect a wood floor, big enough for just the individual feet (as opposed to buying one giant, single-piece floor pad). Thank you.

Asked by B
Verified Reply - DarleneHi B- Thanks for reaching out! Here are some specifications that might help, also see the photo below for reference. The back base is 30.7 inches or 77.9cm. and the Front is 540mm 21.2”. Thank you!- Schwinn Team
